What is Zip-Ez and how does it work?

Zip-Ez is a patented, one-handed insulation fastener for HVAC duct wrap, reflective insulation, foam board, and FSK insulation. Slip it over any screw, drive it with a battery drill, and it mechanically secures insulation permanently — no tape, no staples, no special tools required.

Does Zip-Ez cause air leakage in ductwork?

No. Zip-Ez fasteners have been independently tested by a BPI-certified HERS Rater using a Minneapolis Duct Blaster at 25Pa, 50Pa, and 100Pa. Zero measured or visible air leakage was detected at any fastener penetration point. The coarse screw threads are self-sealing — no additional sealant is required.

What is the Lineset Box used for?

The Lineset Box is a patented rough-in box designed for HVAC line set penetrations. It provides a clean, professional termination point for refrigerant lines, control wiring, and condensation drains. It protects copper line sets from kinking during construction and gives every install a finished, architecturally pleasing look.

Yes. The Lineset Box is constructed from UL-recognized polypropylene under UL File E130336. The material is UL 94 HB rated for flame resistance. UL Yellow Cards documenting the material certification are available for download on our website.

The Lineset Box is available in two colors: black and white. Both match common exterior finishes for a clean, professional appearance.
